The records are arranged first according to church body and then chronologically. Although most of the records pre-date the LCA, budgeting was done by the merging bodies in anticipation of the merger. It is likely that this set of records was in turn used by the LCA as it began to develop its own budgets. One folder (remittance requests from 1966-1973) contains records later than this time of early budgeting.
